 Mysore: Although all the past administrations that reigned in Karnataka determined to make the state free from huts, it seems that is not imminent in the nearest future; because the people living in Jai Bheema Nagar, Bannoor, are still living in huts that is their palace for the past 30 years.

Mysore : There was a touching farewell for the jumbo squad which took part in the Jambu Savari of the world famous Mysore Dasara celebrations. The  pachyderms which had camped in the palace grounds since one month are returning to their hometowns on October 16.

Woman gives birth to quadruplets


Mysore:
A woman  from  Hasuguli village in Gundlupete taluk gave birth to quadruplets at Cheluvamba Hospital here on October 14, Monday morning at around 9.20 am. This is a very rare case wherein a woman has given birth to quadruplets in her first delivery.

Seventeen-year-old Sanju and three-year-old Santosh, children of Nepali couple Bahadur and Dhanalaxmi, who were working as bonded laborers in a poultry farm located in Anedoddy village, near here.
